product mix; ranging from cement, cement
sheet, mild steel bars, high strength
deformed bars, galvanized sheet, uPVC
pipe & fittings, and electrical cables.
Inspired by our Chairman’s vision of
being self-sufficient in every possible
aspect of production, the Group is now
self reliant on its own captive power
generation fueled by Natural Gas,
ensuring unhindered production.
Importantly, the Group is also assisting
in creating a Greener Bangladesh and
easing the pressure on the deficient
national power grid.
Anwar Cement Limited
is now one of the renowned names in the
Building Materials Industry of the
country. The factory is strategically
located at Meghnaghat near the capital
city of Dhaka. Anwar Cement Ltd. started
its operation through production of
Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) in
state-of-the-art factory. Use of latest
‘O’ Sepa’ separator and Close Circuit
technology ensures high quality &
fineness. The brand has accomplished
itself as one of the top ranking
cement-producing company of Bangladesh.
Commitment to diversification,
expansion, and integration lead to
introduction cement corrugated sheet,
which is used for roofing. Being only
the second manufacturer of its kind in
the country, its products are widely
used in the making of factory sheds and
rural houses. The major raw material
comes from its own cement plant ensuring
highest quality product and smooth
production.
Anwar Ispat Limited
is amongst the leading re-rolling mills
in the country. Use of most modern fully
automatic re-rolling mill and high
quality imported billets assures that
the produce meets international quality
parameters. Anwar Ispat specializes only
in ‘Graded’ products, 40 Grade and 60
Grade High Strength Deformed Bars (HSD-Bars),
which are superior to general bars /
rods.
Anwar Galvanizing Limited
went into operation in mid 1980s with
the production of galvanized
corrugated sheet. Marketed under the
brand name ‘Queen’, the product is one
of the popular brands in the market.
Anwar Galvanizing Ltd. has the proud
distinction of being the pioneer in
exporting galvanized corrugated sheet.
Thus opening up a new horizon for the
entire steel industry of Bangladesh and
adding up a new product to the small
‘Export Basket’ of the country. In
pursuit of diversification, Anwar
Galvanizing Ltd. is now in process of
introducing GI (galvanized iron) pipe
fittings, which will be the first
industry of its kind in the country.
A-One Polymer Limited
was established with the objective of
producing premium grade uPVC pipe,
fittings, Teflon tape and other plumbing
related products and thereby taking the
Group’s vision of ‘manufacturing total
range of construction materials’ yet
another step forward. Being associated
with the name ‘Anwar’ ensures all items
will comply highest standard in all
phases, from procurement of quality
raw-materials; to producing in the
latest technology based machineries;
under the guidance of experienced
technicians; and followed by stringent
quality control measures. All products
of the unit are made in accordance to
BS, ASTM, DIN Standard, and are approved
& certified by BSTI (Bangladesh Standard
& Testing Institute) & BUET (Bangladesh
University of Engineering & Technology).
Established in 1954, Sunshine Cable &
Rubber Works is the first cable
manufacturing plant of the country.
‘Sunshine’ over the period has bagged
numerous outstanding achievements
including being the first electrical
cable manufacturer, from the then East
Pakistan, in the late 1960s. |
