This is where the group's industrial
journey began 5 (five) decades ago with
Anwar Silk Mills. Starting with 50
Tsudokoma weaving looms, the textile
division now boasts a weaving unit of
more than 550 looms, a 40,000 spindle
spinning unit, state of the art
dyeing-printing & finishing unit,
Acrylic spinning unit, and a yarn dying
unit.
One of the pride products of the Group,
'Mala Saree’ (traditional dress of
female in Bangladesh) is the heartthrob
of the rural women for its quality,
unique designs and rational price. The
Group is also exporting high quality
Bathrobes, Bed Sheets, Aprons, Linen,
Napkin, Kitchen & Terry Towels to the
European and US markets. The Group is
the largest exporter of household,
institutional and retail items since
1989 in Bangladesh. The division is
proud to be amongst the largest
exporters of kitchen towels to the US in
the entire subcontinent. It has also
established its own place in the shelves
of most of the retail chains in Europe
and more particularly in the US with its
top-notch household and institutional
terry products.
Established in 1982, Hossain Dyeing
and Printing Mills Ltd. (HDP) has
become one of the largest and most
modern textile fabric dyeing, printing
and finishing mills in the country. It
is Equipped with 2 continuous dyeing
machines, Zimmer Rotary 13 colour
printing machines amongst many others.
HDP, with Oero Tex Standard 100
Certification, undoubtedly remains the
most accomplished vertically integrated
dyeing, printing & finishing mill of the
country and is considered as a one-step
service facility for weavers and
knitwear industry of the country.
Producing 3.5 million meters per month,
HDP is considered the trendsetter in the
Industry.

Cotton Unit:
A 40,000 spindle cotton & blended
yarn-spinning unit was set up in 1994.
The Mill's unique quality and product
range in both cotton & blended yarn has
made it very popular amongst both,
domestic and export-oriented knitters &
weavers.
Acrylic Unit:
Established in 2004 with a capacity of
10,000 kg per day of quality Acrylic
yarn for the Sweater Industry of the
country. Thus reducing dependence on
import and help save the country of
valuable foreign currency. |
